Companies are increasingly striving to automate their production processes to increase efficiency and, most importantly, to relieve operators of heavy tasks such as physical handling.

The main problem of manual handling is product dispersion: it is high and can also create clutter, contamination in the production department and the possibility of operator injuries.

One of the things to consider when choosing the type of material conveying system is the risk of product contamination: with manual handling there is a high risk of product contamination due to the unprotected transport of the material. On the other hand, with regard to the pneumatic conveyor, this risk is zero, since it is a closed system. Simple to sanitise, it is ideal if you want to use different powders that must not come into contact with each other.
