DESICCANT PACKAGING MACHINE FEEDING

Packaging is the final phase of the production process and usually involves a large number of people: low noise levels are therefore essential for a comfortable working environment. 

Delfin pneumatic conveyors are ideal for feeding packaging machines in the chemical industry, precisely because they are designed to ensure low noise levels. They also ensure employee safety by eliminating exposure to dust particles during the packaging process.

The customer wanted to avoid any contact with the irritant and abrasive product. This product is initially placed in airtight containers.

With the new Delfin system, the process becomes automated: The loading and transport of products (additive and chloride) from the hoppers to the packaging machine is carried out through two completely closed systems, avoiding risks for the operator and reducing production times.
Thanks to two conveyors, one for additives and one for chloride, the ingredients are inserted into the packaging machine, which mixes them and then packages the final product. This system makesthe workplace safer and cleaner.
 

FEATURES

  • Machine completely powered by compressed air (ATEX zone 22 certifiable)
  • Reaches a high vacuum level (800 mbar) generated by a Venturi ejector with 4-8 nozzles
  • All parts in contact with the product are made of polished AISI 304 stainless steel with FDA-certified food-grade seals (External satin finish/Internal polishing)
  • Cylindrical body: Ø420mm with a 20l load capacity (adjustable) - Ø280mm with an 8l load capacity
  • Product transport capacity up to 1700kg/h (distance considered 5m)
