During all coffee processing phases, it is often necessary to store the coffee. In this case, the pneumatic conveyors collect the product directly from the machine and take it automatically to the storage silos or Big Bags.
Delfin pneumatic conveyors can fill and empty Silos and Big Bags according to different customer needs. In addition to this, they are able to feed multiple storage points starting from a single picking point, also taking into account that, sometimes, the coffee storage points are the picking point towards the packaging machine. All handling is always carried out automatically, to reduce the risks involved in manual handling.
The customer used to load the Big Bag manually: by pouring the coffee beans in this way, there is the possibility of contamination, product waste and high dispersion of coffee in the department.
Delfin Pneumatic Conveyors has developed an automated loading solution: the coffee is fed through the suction lance, passing through the transport line and reaching the conveyor, which discharges the product into the Big Bag. This automated process results in reduced production times, the need for less personnel and a cleaner and safer working environment.
The new conveying system preserves the integrity of the product and avoids contamination and dispersion.
