COLLECTION AND RECOVERY OF GROUND COFFEE POWDER FROM PACKAGING LINE TO PAN FEEDER 

Automating the recovery of coffee powder and beans during the packaging phase can improve production efficiency, reducing production times and improving the quality of the final product. It can also extend the life of the packaging machine itself, require fewer operators and reduce the exposure of workers to harmful elements, minimising the risk of injury.

With Delfin pneumatic conveyors, the recovered material is carried through a hermetically sealed system and fed back into the production process, avoiding any contact between the powders and the operator.

PNEUMATIC CONVEYOR PAN FOR FEEDER FEEDING

The customer had to solve two problems: the high quantity of coffee dispersed inside the pan feeder packaging machine and the prolonged period of downtime due to the time needed to recover the material and clean the machine itself.

Delfin has automated the recovery of coffee powder and its reinsertion into the packaging machine. This process leads to the reduction of production times and the need for less personnel to clean the machine. The new system avoids contamination and product dispersion, which is recovered at several points and fed back into the production cycle through a hermetically sealed system.
